Dr Al-Ausi is a GP Partner and previously trained as a surgeon. He holds The Royal College Certificate for Local Anaesthetic Vasectomy and holds an NHS contract to perform vasectomies to men who are Stockport residents.
How to book a vasectomy procedure
If you are a patient of Marple Cottage Surgery and you require a vasectomy, you need to make an appointment to see Dr Al-Ausi for counselling and to discuss an operation date. Your partner is welcome to attend this first appointment. The procedure will be carried out as an NHS service and will be paid for by Stockport CCG.
If you are a patient of any other Stockport GP, and you require a vasectomy, you need to make an appointment to see your own GP for counselling and to request a referral to Marple Cottage Surgery for a vasectomy. Your partner is welcome to attend this first appointment with your GP. The procedure will be carried out as an NHS service and will be paid for by Stockport CCG.
