The majority of blood test results that are performed in the Practice are received a week later, although some specialised tests do take longer.
You do not need to contact the practice for test results. If the Doctor wishes to see you to discuss your results you will be contacted by Reception and asked to make an appointment.
If the Doctor is able to provide advice or treatment following your test result, you will be contacted via telephone or SMS text message and / or a prescription for treatment sent to your nominated Pharmacy.
Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
