In 2013, the NHS introduced the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) which allows GPs to send your prescription electronically from their computer to your chosen pharmacy. This means that you don’t need a paper copy of your prescription.
How to set up my chosen pharmacy?
- NHS App: You can nominate your local pharmacy using NHS App. Click here for more information about how to access NHS App.
- Pharmacy: When visiting your local pharmacy, or collecting your prescription, you can ask that they be nominated your local Pharmacy.
- Reception: Let us know which pharmacy you would like your prescriptions to be sent to when speaking to our Reception team.
- Doctor/Nurse/HCA: If you have an appointment at the Practice you can ask us to nominate your local pharmacy.
