Dr Amy Wood

I studied at Newcastle University and loved every minute of it. I qualified as a doctor in 2010. I grew up in Poynton and was keen to move back closer to home when I qualified, and I’ve been in and around Manchester ever since. After completing foundation training. I did 2 years of core medical training, then started training and an Intensive Care Registrar for a couple of years, before moving into General Practice.

Prior to working in Marple, I worked at a surgery in Salford for a few years.
