Some emails that are sent from the Practice may be received using the NHS Secure Email portal (Egress).
The NHS Secure Email portal (Egress) allows you to:-
- read the From, To, Sent and Subject information
- read the email message
- reply to the sender
- reply to all recipients
- download attachments
How to open your message
- Once you have received the email, Select open secure email
- You will be redirected to the NHS Secure Email portal (Egress)
- If you already have an Egress account, sign in using your Email and Password
- Alternatively, Select New User to create an account, and follow the New User Registration Process below.
New User Registration Process
- Select New User
- Input your details
- Select Create Account
- Login using your newly created details
- The system will show your secure email in a similar way to a normal email
- You may reply to the message using the NHS Secure Email portal, and download any attachments if you wish.
