New Patient Registration

We have an open list and welcome requests for registration from patients living in or moving to the practice area.

You can search your postcode to check you are within the practice area by clicking here.

If you have any regular or repeat medications, you should make an initial appointment with Dr Maher Al-Ausi, Dr Samantha Wise, or Dr Raina Patel.  Please contact the practice to make this appointment on 0161 426 0011 or 0161 983 5242.

Registered Patients are able to be seen across both practice sites at Marple Cottage Surgery in Marple and Guywood Practice in Romiley.

You will have a named accountable GP who is responsible for coordinating your care. You can still talk to or make appointments to see any of our doctors or nurses, not just your named GP.

Alternatively, you can click here to Print a copy of our Patient Registration Form. You will need to complete this and send back or return it to the Practice.

Temporary patients

If you are not registered with a GP you will be unable to see one unless you have a serious emergency. In most other cases, contact the NHS 111 service online at https://111.nhs.uk or by telephoning 111.

If you are not registered with a GP but need treatment at a GP Surgery you will need to complete a temporary registration form.

You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months, for example, you are far away from your home GP Practice. This will allow you to be on the local practice list and still remain a patient of your permanent GP. After three months you will have to re-register as a temporary patient or permanently register with that practice.
