NHS App is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone, tablet or computer.
You can use the NHS app to:
- Order repeat prescriptions – see your available medicines, request a new repeat prescription and choose a pharmacy for your prescriptions to be sent to
- Book appointments – search for, book and cancel appointments at your GP surgery, and see details of your upcoming and past appointments
- Get health advice – search trusted NHS information and advice on hundreds of conditions and treatments, and get instant advice or medical help near you
- View your medical record – securely access your GP medical record, to see information like your allergies and your current and past medicines
- Register your organ donation decision – choose to donate some or all of your organs and check your registered decision
- Find out how the NHS uses your data – choose if data from your health records is shared for research and planning
- View your NHS number – find out your NHS number

If you have issues registering for NHS App
We advise that you complete the Registration process with the NHS App directly, following the information above.
However, if you experience any issues when trying to register with NHS App, you can complete our manual registration process below, however, does take slightly longer and requests are processed within one calendar month. We do aim to process and complete requests within 10 working days.

Alternatively, you can complete the form electronically and return to the Practice by email, accompanied with a photograph of each form of identification (as specified below), along with a photograph of you holding the Photographic ID. Please send your ID along with the Registration form via our online contact system
Types of identification
Age | What Identification do I need? |
0 – 10 | A Parent is able to request Proxy access for a Child under the age of 11. Parents are required to provide one form from List A or B, one from List C, and Full Birth Certificate of the Child. |
11 – 16 | Patients aged 11 will need to provide both their Birth Certificate and Passport. |
17 & over | You will need to provide one form of Identification from List A. Alternatively, one form from List B and one form from List C |
