Young ADULTS’ Mental Health
More than 1 in 5 young people who experienced trauma said they didn’t feel that their problems were serious enough to reach out for mental health support.
Nearly 1 in 5 young people said that they felt excluded at some point because they were spoken down to, and nearly 1 in 5 felt excluded because their issues weren’t understood correctly.
Young people still don’t understand mental health well. They’ve told us that it causes them to talk down mental health problems that they might have. Because of this, a lot of them also said they prefer anonymous services.
