Underlying health conditions | · Severe Asthma (needing frequent use of steroid inhaler or tablets) · chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) · Cystic fibrosis · Heart conditions, such as coronary heart disease or heart failure · Chronic kidney disease · liver disease, such as cirrhosis or hepatitis · some conditions that affect your brain or nerves, such as Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis or cerebral palsy · Diabetes or Addison’s disease · a weakened immune system due to a condition such as HIV or AIDS, or due to a treatment such as chemotherapy or steroid medicine · problems with your spleen, such as sickle cell disease, or if you’ve had your spleen removed. · a learning disability · Your BMI is currently 40 or above | · Severe Asthma (needing x2 courses of steroid tablets or causing hospital admission in the last 2 years) · chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) · Cystic fibrosis · Heart conditions, such as coronary heart disease or heart failure · Chronic kidney disease · liver disease, such as cirrhosis or hepatitis · some conditions that affect your brain or nerves, such as Parkinson’s disease, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis or cerebral palsy · Diabetes or Addison’s disease · a weakened immune system due to a condition such as HIV or AIDS, or due to a treatment such as chemotherapy or steroid medicine · problems with your spleen, such as sickle cell disease, or if you’ve had your spleen removed. · a learning disability · Your BMI is currently 40 or above | · Asplenia or dysfunction of the spleen · Chronic respiratory disease (chronic respiratory disease refers to chronic lower respiratory tract disease) · Chronic heart disease · Chronic kidney disease · Chronic liver disease · Diabetes · Immunosuppression · Individuals with cochlear implants · Individuals with cerebrospinal fluid leaks · Occupational risk (e.g. frequent or continuous exposure to metal fume such as welders) | · Immunosuppression (from aged 50 years of age) | · n/a |
